Hello,

we have a TeraStation TS 2.0 TGL/R5 with 4X500Gb hard drives.

Is there the possibility that the station monitors the failure rate of the hard drives and when one of those is reporting r/w failures beyond a threshold then the station sends out a log message to a syslog server ? This would enable the user to replace the defective hard drive immediately before it eventually dies out completely, so avoiding permanent data loss.

If yes, how can I set up this ?

Thanks

Diego
