Hi,

I have a Buffalo NAS, model LS-CH1.0TLU2, suspected to suffer from firmware damage during a power loss, so I could not access the HDD or disk content. Windows diagnostics reported "The remote device or resoruce won't accept the connection"

The NAS IP connectivity was fine, I was able to do a firmware upgrade to latest v1.73, however, the problem persists.

I further did a NAS system reset, which reset the IP/password to factory default, however, I wasn't able to log onto the device's web management interface - it kept having authentication error with the factory default user ID & password.

Buffalo NAS Navigator SW was able to interrogate the NAS, as well as pulling out its newly DHCP leased IP and disk use. Windows Network could see the NAS as a computer.

How can I get over these problems?

Thanks.
