Hey!

Hope someone can help!!

I just bought this buffalo drive for my PS3:

http://www.lambda-tek.com/componentshop/index.pl?origin=gbase5.5&prodID=B151710">http://www.lambda-tek.com/componentshop/index.pl?origin=gbase5.5&prodID=B151710

Model Name HD-CELU2 Firmware Version BUF-CELU2-1.4.7 LOADER 3.5W1.9

In the USB mode, my PS3 sees the drive but it says there are no files available (even thought i have video/music/picture files on). I can see the files on my PC.

In the LAN mode, my PS3 does see any media servers.... should it not show this NAS drive?

Its formatted to FAT32 so it should work on the PS3!!

Please help someone!!

The device will not be seen in LAN mode because it is not DLNA certified and will not work with a DLNA certified device.

It should work just fine in USB mode. Make sure that when you have it plugged in via USB that the device is in fact in USB mode by checking to see if the connection light is amber.

Correct, there is no way your ps3 can access this model drive over ethernet.

However since it is formatted in fat 32 it should be able to see the drive.

It is often neccessary to not simply select the drive in xmb but to hit triangle and hit display all.
