I have a Buffalo DriveStation HD-QL8TU3R5 which worked flawlessly, connected to an Apple Time Machine as an external drive (not for backup) via USB, which suddenly stopped working.

There are no error lights on the face.  All HD read Green.

In Disk Utility, the drive is there, but I cannot mount it.  I fun "First Aid" on it and there are no issues.

I need access to this data, its fairly critical.  Any ideas?  Attached are screenshots from Disk Utility.

I have screenshots from Disk Utility  but can't figure out how to attached them to this message.
