Firmware problem using Vista 64 home premium on Terastation Pro III

Just got my Terastation Pro III yesterday.  I am having problems connecting between my Toshiba Laptop (Vista Home Premium 64 bit) and the Tera.  Sometimes it connects and sometimes it does not.  If I restart the Tera, it connects and can be seen in and mapped, but if I restart my computer, it loses connection again.  I am able to access the unit through Web Access, and change values, but again, I can see the unit or its contents from the Computer Explore. 

 

I changed the values in the LmCompatibility Level to 2 and then 1, still unable to access the unit consistently.

 

I also note that when I shut the unit down with the power button, when it restarts the date and time are incorrect.

 

Finally, I have been trying to update the firmware and the updater finds the unit, accepts the password and begins to update, only to stop with the following message:"Tera (name I gave the unit) Returns an Error (ACP_STATE_FAILURE) Updating Is Aborted"  Please help, the units only 24 hours old!

   I took the unit home and hooked up to my old xp computer.  Firmware upgrade was smooth as silk.  But, still having a problem connecting to my Vista 64 bit laptop or to my Vista 64 desktop with home premium.  No problems whatsoever connecting with my Vista 64 bit premium computer.  Any fixes to get it working with Vista 64 home premium?

   Oops, it is working on Vista 64 Ultimate, not premium
