Admin password reset on LS-W2.0TGL

I need to reset the admin password without losing the data.  I can see the drive on the network, and in a browser, but can only log on as guest, and I can't map the drive or access any of the data.  I installed the latest NAS Navigator2 software.
Do I need to connect the NAS with a USB cable to a PC?  Will a admin password reset allow me access to the drives and retain the data?

Sorry if this was covered under another thread.
