Setting of BuffaloNAS.com name failed

Hi.

I have a linkstation LS421DE and i am trying to setup web access with smartphone navigator.

When i go into NAS setup i follow the instructions by Buffalo and put a username and password, i then add a BuffaloNAS.com name and press set.

It show checking internet connection as successful, Checking router setting as successful and setting of BuffaloNAS.com failed.

I have port forwarded port 9000 on my router.

Is there any way to get this to work please???

I would login to the unit and go to the webaccess settings and take a screen shot for me. So i can see what you have. If nothing is there go to advance and input the info you need.

initialize the unit from the interface. after that logging to the interface advanced setting and configure the webaccess

If he already has the advance settings set then there would be alil change with initializing the unit and redoing it. Who knows he could have 1 setting wrong and that would do it. Or even have upnp enable and that could cause issues. Maybe his firmware is really out of date. versions 1.58-.163 had webaccess issues .
