I have a linkstation 420 I bought last December. I have connected a Seagate Backup Plus 5 TB. The NAS sees it. When I try and format it, it doesn't format. I attached the drive to the computer and formatted it as a EXT3 and reattached it and the NAS keeps telling me it is unformatted. I have tried to format it as a EXT3 and XFS on the NAS but each time it finishes it comes back saying unformatted.

What is the model number and firmware version of the LinkStation?
