Hi guys'

I have just purchased my new NAS drive and love it.

But unfortunately I'm having a few issues with bit torrent client and also viewing my shared folders on my vu+solo2 running vix image.


Really not sure how the bit torrent client works so some help would be usefull.

Also i can ascess all my files in my home and outside my home through the web but i cant seem to mount the share on my vu+ solo2

Any help would be great guys sorry if i seem a bit like a newb

The bit torrent client basically works the same as any other BT client.

Don't know the capabilites of the vu+solo2 so cannot be much help here, does it support either SMB/CIFS or DLNA/UPnP?

Yes it supports all those formats

So if i dont need bittorent running on my laptop how do i use bittorent on the nas.

When i click on a download link nothing happens on my laptop unless bittorent is installed ?

You would need to copy the magnet link (for example), open your browser, type: http://IPOfLinkstation:9090/gui/ and press enter, you will be asked for the user/pass. It is admin/blank (no password).

It will open the torrent client, click "+" and paste the magnet link into it.
