after updating the Itune 10 version
« on: October 13, 2011, 05:44:04 AM »

after updating to new version of itune 10. i was not able to access my buffalo nas file in the itune program.

1) i check the setup at the buffalo system itself and restart the media server. - it restart ok.

2) but when it comes to the itune. it was not able to fine the media server.

before updating to newer version, i was able to access without problem. I did not change any setting after the update. maybe we need to update our  buffalo NAS OS system? i checked for newer update. I already have the latest version.

any suggestion on solving this problem?

Which version do you have? Are you able to access other itunes library's on your network?

My firmware is 1.54V

I can not access anymore in my desktop or  in my laptop. Before I was able to access my library's network.

The last thing i did was to upgrade to new ios5 and itune 10.

any suggestion?

Apple has broken support for Shared Libraries in iTunes for every device apart from Apple products in 10.5. It will still work in iTunes 10.4 and below. Apple casued the issue so contact them for a fix.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
Having network issues? Drop me an email: info@interwebnetworks.com and we will get it fixed!

You might consider not "sharing" the library and just use the folder on the NAS as your actual iTunes library.
