hi,

I just configured web access via port 9000 and it works great. There are A couple of performance issues to be addressed. Shared folders contain several hundred MP3, MS word files, and it takes 30secs to a couple of minutes to list up them in IE 7.0. Bigger problem is when downloading them. Each the size of MP3 files is around 50M - It's not music but speeches. It takes less than a minute at home to 'save target as ' which is great but, takes 20-30 minutes from my office. Is there any way to speed up? I heard a lot of saying changing packet size to jumbo. I am not sure that'll help and I don't know where/how to set it up. My setup is TRENDnet TEW-611BRP and Cable modem, and clients are windows xp/vista.

Organizing the files into folders will speed up the loading of the folders. The speed of downloading files from the internet is limited by your ISP's upload speed. Unfortunately there is no way to speed that up without increasing your upload through your internet provider (and you'll probably have to pay more for it)
