my hd-lbu2 wont even turn on , there is power coming through the adapter  but no lights come on or no sound it is only a year and a half old .

i have a lot of stuff backed up 

any ideas ????

If it is still under warranty, you need to contact your regional support and advise them the stiuation.

If it is out of warranty, you can either remove the HDD and connect it to a pc and try to recover data or contact a data recovery company.

if its not powering on then its faulty. You same you have stuff backed up so refer to the source of the backup to recover your data. FYI: A backup is when there are TWO copies of information. If you have stored all your data on the Drivestation and no other place then...... .well....... get out your wallet and contact a data recovery company.
