On a side note:

 

Buffalo really need to fix their homepages. In the supportpages nothing shows up in the search result, when you try to find whatever model of NAS you may have.

 

On the product pages with the download button, the serial on the back of the NAS doesn't work, when you try to download ex NAS Navigator. Still have the CD, so I'm alright - but all this doesn't leave the impression of a professional company, and it makes it impossible to ever get a newer version of the software:

I finally got the NAS up and running again using the TFTP procedure and a new firmware.
