Hi.

I enabled web and mysql server on a linkstation duo (selecting the same folder) and I enabled restrictions for this folder (admin read and write).
Then i created a database (db1) that creates a folder named (db1).
I can not access this folder with admin credentials.
Which credentials uses this folder?
Admin hav all privileges and grant for all host and localhost.....help please.
Thanks.

I am having a similar problem.  I set up Web Access and MySQL and I can get phpMyAdmin to load.  It asks for a user name and password and I can't get it to connect.  If I use root and no password, it says that a password is required.  If I use Admin and no password, same thing.  If I use my admin log on credentials for the NAS, that also fails.  Where or how does one get this fixed.  I have also tried the user@%.  Frankly, these units are crap, I have not been happy with it since it arrived a few years ago.   I thought it might make a reasonable MySQL server and it can't even do that with any elegance at all.

Well, if the login is admin and the password is password, maybe you can explain why that does not work.  I have everything set up according to the very limited information in the manual.  I have web access enabled.  I can push the button and start phpMyAdmin, but no combination of user names or passwords will allow me access.

Like I said, the equipment and associated documentation are crap.  I have had nothing but unreliably operation from this product.  Buffalo won't support it.  Nova won't support it when their backup software (included with and the preferred product to use) does not work.

I am more than happy to walk through any checklist which details a step-by-step to make sure that I have not missed anything.  But the fact that phpMyAdmin starts and refuses the user names and passwords tells me that the MySQL server appears to be working but something is missing in either the ini file or somewhere else.  I also tried putting a user name and password into the ini file and that did not work.
