Windows 8 System Image Backup to LS-CHL V2507

I have just recently installed Windows 8 and wish to backup the System Image to my NAS drive, I receive an error message "This version does not support this version of file format", on investigation I find that the drive needs to be NTFS and not FAT.

Other 3rd party products happily backup system images to a FAT drive but Microsoft require a NTFS formatted drive.

My question is, Can I reformat my  LS-CHL  V2507 to NTFS and still use it as a network drive? If so how do I do that?

Any other suggestions that would allow me to share this drive and backup Win 8 System Images would be appreciated.

Regards

The linkstations file format is not FAT, it is XFS (Linux) and cannot be changed, you would have to use different software to create a backup image.

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
