Hi,

I have "successfully" managed setup the Buffalo Web Access and it works great via my home network.  But when trying to access my LinkStation outside of my home network it fails to connect.

Any thoughts / assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark

have setup port forwarding on your router?

I believe I've set this up correctly...

Protocol: Any
Port Range: 9000
Translate to: 8080

I have registered this with BuffaloNAS, before I could even get this to work.

Thanks,
Mark

Hi,

Read some of the other posts and I realised I'd got the ports around the wrong way
Changed to:
External 8080
Internal 9000
....
Happy Days!

Thanks,
Mark
