I have a Linkstation Duo Pro model LS-WS1.0GTL/RL that is ethernet connected to a wireless router with RAID 1 Disk Mirroring setup, and the power switch in back is set to auto mode. Is there a way to make the drive power down when not in use a with the drives on my desktop computer?  Also, has anyone replaced their 500GB drives with 1TB drives, and how did that go?  How does the process go when you're doing that?

When the power switch is in the Auto position, if you have the NASNavi software installed and running when you shut the computer down, it will shut off the Linkstation. This may not work unless you are connected to the same switch as the Linkstation, but it's worth a try. Make sure you're running this version of NASNavi:
