LS-CH1.0TL won't update to latest firmware

I have a LS-CH1.0TL with firmware 1.07. It's working fine, but I see there's a version 1.31 for download. I've downloaded it, but when I try to apply it, the updater searches the network and then reports back "Linkstation that needs updating wasn't found".

 

Any thoughts or help are appreciated!

Firmware 1.31 this is for hardware version 2 with red style user interface

Can not update to your LinkStation.

 

Warning: This firmware is not compatible with the former hardware version and causes the death of the unit if you try to install it somehow!!! Furthermore it will void the warranty. (the firmware does not have more features, it is written for a different platform)

Ah! I did not realize I have the former hardware version. So is 1.07 the latest (final?) version for my hardware?
