My LinkStation Live (LS-CH1.0TL) started showing a solid red red on the top. It's lit up all the time, you can sorta see if behind the blue led. It's on all the time, even during when the LinkStation is turning on/off, and even when it's turned off. The led only does dark when the power cable is unplugged. After plugging in again, solid red led immediately. Oddly, the LinkStation seems to work without any problems, torrents are downloading, media server is working etc. What does this red led mean? I could not make any sense of the guide about led flashes.

Thanks!

From the sound of this there is a problem within the firmware.  mixed signals as what color to display, other possibility is the processing on the board itself, confused on what color to display.  If it is currently working I would leave as be, b/c if you try to update the FW could cause complications.
