Hello,

TeraStation TS-XL Firmware 1.2 Both are the same, both set to the same workgroup, Folder on remote system is set up with Windows, FTP, SFTP enabled and read / Write restrictions for Admin with password.

I am looking for ideas on how to back up a terastation at our office to a remote tera station.

I currently am backing my small business server to a Tera Station on the network in the office. I have purchased a second duplicate Tera Station to set up in a remote location (owners home) that has DSL sservice and routed all incoming traffic to the TeraStation.

I have not found a solution that will allow me to write to the remote Tera Station with any consistancy, I have tried FTP only to have it fail part way through the 700mb to 1.5 gb transfer.

Has anyone found a solution to a remote Tera Station to TeraStation Back up?

The only thing I have not attempted is to set up a VPN - Really would prefer not to have to go that far.

Thanks in advance for your Ideas and suggestions.

D.Sweet
