I have tried in vain to install the External Blu-Ray Drive (BR-816SU2) both via USB and eSATA.  There is no "Found new hardware" pop-up in windows..

Please help.. is this a hardware problem or is there something I can do to force my PC to recognise this external blu-ray writer.

Paul

If your device manager is not seeing the drive you can make sure you PC is set to auto detect new hardware.

With in the device manger you can also right click on computer and scan for new hardware chases.
