I have a client that is trying to use a terastation with a crossover cable..

and use a wireless connection for internet at the same time..

when I set him up this way I lose the net  even with the wireless connected...

I can access the terastation NP  so the crossover is doing it's job..

But how can I tell IE to use the wireless connection and not the lan port..

the client insist this worked for him for months.

He moves this drive back and forth from home to work.

My sugestion was simply to match his home network ip's with his home network Ip  and plug into the router..

but this is one of the "It worked before so I want it that way" kind of clients.. so I guess my question is wth am I missing??

I think the title of this thread is a bit misleading and is more of a  Windows networking question rather than the NAS working.
