Bought  an HD-CE1.OT2-EU for use on my Mac. Worked fine to begin with but then would not recognise the data (video). Local tech guy said to wipe the disc. Done so but now have the problem of it not being recgnised in finder only disc utility. It will not allow me to repair or verify. I have checked for a download and none available for Mac. Please help.

in the disk utility where the disk can be seen, have you chosen a reformat option for the disk? such as journaled ot FAT32?

The only option if it is not showing in the disk utility is to try other USB ports and/or a different computer.  You shouldn't need a driver for mac.  What version of mac are you running?  Have you updated at all recently?
