Access to NAS problems after recent Windows 11 update?

Suddenly, probably after a Windows 11 update, PC A can only access our three NAS drives through Explorer by using their IP addresses and not by volume names. PC B cannot access any NAS drive through Explorer except one via its IP address immediately after a reboot, but even that fails after going to sleep. In some cases the message is 'Windows cannot access \\volumename', in other cases it's 'Enter network credentials', which doesn't work when you do. The drives are perfectly visible to NAS Navigator, and when viewed as Media devices in Explorer videos, images and music are all visible. Just can't get at files and folders in the usual way. Our W10 PC is fine. All suggestions welcome!
