Hi
This is my first post in this forum.
I have a newer Buffalo Linkstation 210 4 TB which is lockedup.

Here is what led to this:
I had a 10 year old 2 TB Western Digital NAS connected to my network. It stopped working. It has 50,000 photos +-
I purchased a new Buffalo Linkstation 210 4 TB
I purchased a Sabrent docking station
I placed the WD drive in one slot of the Sabrent docking station, and the new Buffalo Linkstation 210 drive in the second slot
I pushed the "disk copy" button on the Sabrent docking station which should have copied all data from the WD drive to the new Buffalo drive

Unfortunately, it also appears to have copied a corrupt file or error
Now my Buffalo drive is also corrupted.

My question:
I simply want to do a factory reset on the Buffalo drive. (I do not care about the data...I have a backup). Using the Buffalo reset procedures does nothing..the drive simply does not respond.

I have downloaded Linux Disk Internals...I can see the Buffalo drive and partitions....but I am unable to delete  files or reset the drive.

In the lower right corner of the Linux Disk Internals, is shows for both Raid 1 and Raid 2: "Linux Volume: Raid is damaged. Recovery is possible."

Any advice for this "non-techie"

Best Regards
