I just set up the Buffalo LinkStation Pro Duo (LS-WV) on my Windows 10 PC and can access the folders inside with NAS Navigator2 but I can't access them from my old mid 2009 MacBook Pro running OS X El Captain.

I installed NAS Navigator2 on the Macbook Pro and I can even see the LinkStation icon in there. I have the Ethernet network cable plugged into the MacBook and can access the internet just fine.

On my MacBook Pro, when I click the LinkStation's icon in NAS Navigator2 it thinks for a little bit and the pops up an error saying: "There was a problem connecting to the server LS-WVLD6D. The server may not exist or it is unavailable at this time. Check the server name or IP address, check your network connection, and then try again."

I also tried to connect to the server through Finder. In Finder, I clicked Go > Connect to Server and then typed in the server address smb://192.168.0.3 and after a few seconds it showed me the same error message as before in the NAS Navigator2. "There was a problem connecting to the server "LS-WVLD6D""

I'm trying to copy all my files on the MacBook Pro to the NAS Raid and access them with my Windows 10 PC.

I'm happy to give more information to help anyone help me solve this issue.
