LS220D - Ignoring sleep timer setting - SOLVED

hi there all, as above the nas will not start at the time set in the sleep timer settings. It WILL go to sleep at the time set, if manually started up ahead of time.. BUT no startup.. ideas anyone?!
user of 3x LS-WXL, 1xLS220D but not that impressed with the reliability of the Seagate disks they use...

let me answer my own Q..
checking all the settings in the management page showed that the NTP Server had set itself to japan time. don't know why but that sorted the timer starting up..
