Hi all,

I have an older LS220D and must transfer the data to an SSD external TB drive. The Buffalo's read speed seems incredibly slow, and even with my Acronis BU software, it indicates it will take DAYS to BU the data. Simply cutting and pasting with Win Explorer also takes> 10 hours for some folder contents. I verified the last possible firmware update on this unit.

Do any of you have suggestions on the best method for moving all the data from this unit other than letting the BU software copy in the background for days?

Is the RAID continually rebuilding the array, and is what is slowing everything down? If so, how can it be turned off while the copy is completed?
