Hi all,

I am using LS_WXL with raid1 for storage nearly 10 years. In case of malfunction, how can I retrieve the data from harddisks?

Thanks!

In case of malfunction

In case of the NAS malfunction you can still access the ext2 data partition of a drive from any device with a driver for ext2.

In the much more likely case of malfunction of one of the drives in RAID1 you've still got the second one.

In case of the malfunction of both drives in RAID1 it's up to costly data recovery services.
