Joining Linkstation 220 to AD

So trying to join to domain but can't seem to get the settings right.  I have looked on these forums and have tried all the suggestions I see.


Steps Taken or Things that I have already looked at:

verified date and time are correct on the Buffalo Box
verified DNS entry was added to buffalo box and pointing to my dns(also my DC):
the domain is called TitanNetwork.local
The domain controller is called DC1

Here are the settings im putting in.  I am trying to join it thru the GUI under Network and then Workgroup and domain

Netbios name: TitanNetwork
DNS name: TitanNetwork.local
Active Domain Controller: DC1
Administrator name: Nas
Password:


Getting the following error after about 30 seconds
"Participation in the active directory domain failed:
check settings of the active directory domain and check the username and password"


Yes, The password I am putting is correct for the User and is also part of the administrator group in AD. 


Any guidance would be helpful and appreciated

Try using the domain admin instead of just a member of the admin group.
