is there any solution to this problem?  I tried accessing EM mode but it's not going any further.

any help is appreciated.

thanks

6 blinks on the diag light indicates a dead HDD in the unit, you will want to contact your local tech support for an RMA.

I'm getting 6 red lights again on the refurbished one after just 3 days. Same as the new one I sent back after 3 months at great shipping expense in addition to data recovery expense. ($50 duty expense to ship across the Canadian border.)

I don't know what I'll do now. Any suggestions?

Can I replace the hard drive myself?

Any instructions available? Running XP and Vista.

If you replaced it with us support call them, they will set up another rma and cover cost if its a doa RMA.
