how i can  reset the admin PW in a linkstation LS-XL 991
I can not login  and need a the password ,
thanks for our help

The LS-XL doesn't have a way to reset the admin password externally. Without an administrator account you can log in with, you're stuck.

Booting it into emergency mode and debugging the firmware (selecting "delete user config") will reset the password.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.

Hi Davo, I'm in the same situation, but can't find out how to boot my NAS in to emergency mode so that I can then debug the firmware and reset the password. Can you help? Thanks!
