I just installed an LS-Ch1.0TL.  I have a macbook connected wirelessly, and two PC, running XP and connected the network via 10/100T NIC. The installation did not terminate successfully, but was able to access the NAS via the Buffalo Web Access Set Up web site.  When reading the IB for this Link-Station, I notice that the pictures in the IB do not match that which I see on the website.  I was hoping to set up a group of users who would have read only privileges with a select few to have read & write priveleges.  The Web Administration page that I'm log on to does not have any option to allow me to individually assign privileges.  Anyone have any ideas?  I've called several times, but mysteriously get cut off at a critical moment.  Are they hanging up on me?  or am I just paranoid?

What firmware are you running?  The steps depend on which hardware version you are running.  The option for access restrictions is under the share folder section on both however.

It's version 1.24, I installed it a couple of days ago.

Thanks for your reply
