Hi Folks,

I have a 4 TB / LS-WX4.0TL/R1.  I need to be able to create symbolic links and hard links in the file system.

Symbolic link is something that I should be able to do from a client machine with the Link Station as a SaMBa share, and I can't.  Not sure why. So I coded a php script that should let me create sym-links natively.  Also doesn't work.  Anybody know why?  Anybody know how to correct this?

Thanks for the help,

Chris.

Hi Folks,

I misinterpreted the situation.  I am in fact creating symlinks, but they are being created as user/group Apache, and they are not showing. They are there, but unseen through SaMBa. So, I guess my problem is forcing Apache to run as nobody:nogroup.  Anybody know anything about that?

Thanks for the help,

Chris.
