Hello

we have two TS51210R serie tera station. We had an information that a new firmware was available on Feb 24. On Feb 26th we applied the firmware update, no error sent .. and then on Feb 28th, san no longer reachable.
We had to hard reboot it, the console was reachable ... and then poufff, no more access. hard reboot again to get access to the console and after several minutes, we are loosing the access again.

What I have done so far -- as we already had the issue -- was to :
* detach the san from the domain, reboot, reattach to the domain, reboot. Didnt change anything
* went on all our servers to ensure there is no ghost connection filling the SAN with non desired iSCSI request. Nothing on this side.
* we tried to let the SAN in standalone mode so detached from the domain. Wan't successfull at all.

Is there a way, once we got the hand on the SAN, to force the firmware update ? The TS is considering itself as updated so no way to force an update from the web console... and I didnt find any place to eventually roll-back to previous version.

thanks you for the answers. Thierry

Up-to-now TS5120R serie still up and reachable. No idea if it was the below steps that worked and fixed the issue or not.

I user the TSupdater.exe ( as the webUI considers the Buffalo as updated )
* File linkstation_version.ini with key VERSION=5.10-0.05 as it was in the downloaded package: TSUpdater tells me that there is not TeraStation to update
* File linkstation_version.ini with key VERSION=5.10-0.07 as modified: TSUpdater tells me that there is a TeraStation to update, so I had the ability to click on the "update" button.

But as I wrote, I have no idea if this was the fix for my issue or not .. but since I applied it the buffalo is stable.
