I have a new LS-QL/R5 with firmware 1.11.  The four drive LEDs are blinking/pulsing approximately every 10 seconds and there seems to be a breif sound of drive activity each time.

The unit is brand new and I have yet to copy any files to it.  I have simply install the client software from the CD and powered up the unit.  The unit is idle and periodically pulsing as described above.

The unit has been attatch to my local network and powered up for several hours and the pulsing continues.

Does any one have a thought on why this is happing, and moreso, any idea how to get the pulsing activity to stop?

Thanks

JoshC

There is a switch located on the back.  What is it set to?  If its set to Auto then its keeping the activity alive to the unit while your PC is on and Nas Navi is running.
