I have a Linkstation Pro Duo (LS-W2.0TGL) with 2 usb ports.

A usb printer is attached to one and an APC ups on the other port (both of which work nicely BTW)

I would like to be able to attach a usb HD (Western Digital) to it.

Question: could a usb hub be used to attach the ups & HD to one port?

The USB ports are meant for external storage and network printers only.

Where would you otherwise connect the APC ups if the usb ports are for HDD & printers only???

From what ive seen most users do not keep the USB drive plugged in at all times, just usually around the time they are about to have the backup going.
