DLNA File Reference Issue

My Linkstation has a number of sub-directories with files within them. When I use file explorer to see the two drives everything is OK; one copy of each file as expected.

When I view the Linkstation via a DNLA device it shows multiple versions of the files in the sub-directories. In some directories I am now up to three copies.

I have tried a restart from the web browser and I have also done a hard start by turning the device off and on.

Any suggestions as to what is going on?
