Unable to see my LS Duo Pro

I have a new Linkstation Duo Pro.  After many hours and much frustration, I finally got it up and running.  (I am running a new Windows 7 64 bit machine- which was the first problem).  I copied lots of pictures and music to it.  All seemed to be working fine.

We had a power shut down.  Since that time I have not been able to find the Linkstation from the computer.  My router sees it, but my computer won't.  After many hours of fighting it, now my router won't even see it.  I have tried to re-initialize the drive, but that has no affect.  I can't even turn the power off on the Linkstation without pulling thte plug.

I ended up pulling the hard drives to try to recover the data.  For some reason, I still cannot access anything on the hard drive.

I am ready to throw this thing off a cliff.   I find it extemely compicated and confusing for something that should be so simple.

Any ideas on how to recover my data before I throw this thing away??

It is hard to tell what went wrong in the first place.  Were you getting any error/ info lights?  Did the unit even boot up (doesn't sound like it)
