i need a replacement circuit board for Terastation HD. i am not sure if a power surge or power drop damaged the board but i hate to throw it out. the drives are good, so is the power supply. why can't i get a replacement board?

Good to know somebody still cares about theirs. I recently managed to get a modern version of Debian running on mine as a proof of concept. I'm still debating whether it's worth the effort to write the necessary utilities to make that process repeatable.

If we're talking about the same model it's like 14 years old at this point. Oddly enough it had more CPU power than a lot of newer ARM devices but being PATA is pretty limiting.

They show up on ebay from time to time, but so do newer and more capable devices.
