Hello, I just bought a Linkstation Pro 1TB box.  I wanted to transfer all the data from my Western Digital 500GB HDD to this box.  I connected the WD drive with USB cable directly to the box, but then after some time, due to some reason, pulled the WD USB cable out.  From that time, I can no longer detect my WD Ext HDD on any machine, let it be the Linkstation, my PC, or Mac.  I did not press the small button on the bottom before releasing the WD Ext HDD.  Any suggestions on what I can do to recover my WD Ext HDD?

You might want to contatc WD support as it was removed without unmounting it.  Formatting may be the only option.
