Linkstation Live can't stream AVCHD

Hi,

I just upgraded my firmware (to 2.11) hoping that it would fix the issue with streaming AVC HD content (.m2ts files from my Sony HDR SR-12 camcorder). But, it still doesn't show up on my PS3. Some more details:

1. PS3 does not have any issues playing back this content as I've done this over USB flash drive

2. Also, PS3 can play the same clip when it's being streamed if the media server does a good job. To prove this, I've installed Twonky/TVersity on my laptop & they have no problems streaming it to PS3

So, it's definitely an issue with PCast. Any idea if there is a fix coming up soon?

Thanks

HV

Paul

I will pass this up to my corporate office,

thank you

Hi Paul,

Thanks & really appreciate it. It's a bummer that I can't stream any of my home videos now. If needed, I can send you a test clip (a real short one). Let me know.

Best Regards,

HV

This is still an issue!  You can't play *.mts files (AVCHD format) on the PS3 from a Linkstation Live.  Are there any firmware fixes on the way?

In an AVS forum, someone suggested installing TwonkyVision on the Linkstation Live instead, and claims it works.  But it involves telnet and unix commands... a bit scary.  Does Buffalo support TwonkyVision running on a Linkstation Live?
