Hi folks,
I would like to access files on my LS520D NAS from remote locations via the internet.

I use Linux PCs so I cannot use the Windows "NAS Navigator" program.

The NAS is set up just fine at home using it's own HTML page.

I read up on this and I found that you *should* be able to set up remote access via the NAS HTML page by clicking on the "Settings" icon as per this screen shot of their manual online =

However, on my NAS html, it all looks similar, but I do not have a "Settings" icon and I cannot find any "Settings" button anywhere. See this screen shot of my NAS HTML =

EDIT = the "Publish" button near top left is greyed out.

Can anyone out there assist at all ?

PS = Having read on here that one can set up web access via an Android phone app, I installed it (and the Android "WebAccess" app).

Oddly though, whilst my phone sees the NAS box and can access my files just fine via it's file navigator, the "SmartPhone Navigator" App does NOT find my NAS box, so I am still stuck :(
