folks,

i have the verizon fios Actiontec MI424WR router, it is 'long in the tooth' now. database of names & mac addresses won't reset to factory default (blanks), i can't rename devices, etc etc.

can i use Buffalo WZR-1750DHPD as a direct replacement?
anyone try this already?
lots of headaches? or is it relatively easy if you copy enough stuff down before-hand to reuse?
or am i barking up the wrong tree?

thanks,
ron
