I have a terastation pro that has been working perfectly for about a year.  Suddenly, it stopped being accessible.  I rebooted the device and now it gets stuck on the "system now booting....." screen.

Any ideas?

I could sure use the help.

Try the TFTP boot procedure as it sounds like the unit lost its boot image.

-Mine went down a few days ago too. Exact same issue. Is there a fix yet?

-I even have a second unit on hand, so i swapped out my 4 drives and guess what....the problem carried over to the second chassis. I suspect that there is something wrong with the harddrives and not the chassis.

Just got off the phone with tech support. I explained to them how i swapped the drives and still came up with the same issue. the gentlemen basically told me that if i try installing a single harddrive and the unit still doesnt boot, then i'm hosed! There is no insurance what so ever with getting my data off of my terastation.

They suggested calling a data restorage company.

Most likely you have multiple HDD failure.
