Hi

I recently bought a 4GB Terastation III and need a little help on a couple of things:

My setup is 2 Dell PC's and the TSIII all on a router and working well.  The shared printer is on my pc, so it has to be switched on if the wife wants to print.

- We put the printer in the TSIII USB and it seemed to work fine for a few days (its not used too much), but sometimes it can take minutes for the printer to start printing, or it simply fails, or it works fine at a normal speed !!!

- Using wireless we play music from theTSIII to the BlueRay/HiFi via the router, but if we turn the pc's off, it sometimes struggles to keep the data supply over the network ... a bit like trying to use your pc whilst defraggin it, for example... its busy doing other stuff which it feels is more important.

A friend of mine said the TSIII is probably using Linux and when the pc's are off, it does its own maintenenace or something like that !!

Any thoughts on these ?

If you need more info, please feel free to ask.

All help is appreciated.

Regards

Stuart
