LinkStation Quad bittorrent doesn't seed after download completes

I recently purchased a Linkstation Quad 1.0TB and it is running firmware 1.05 (latest on website at posting time).  I have been using the bittorrent download manager and it downloads great.  However after a download has reached completion the client will no longer upload any more of the file (leaving the file at .1 upload ratio or lower).

I am using a Linksys wrt54gs and forward the configured port to the NAS.  I have tried both the default port and a higher port with no difference.  I would like to set the max upload as well, to limit bandwidth consumption and no matter what setting I have put the upload always stops after the download stops.

I have tried searching if anyone else has posted a similar error but I could not find anything and I didn't see anything in the firmware updates mentioning the bit torrent client for the Quad.

Has anyone experienced anything like this or have any pointers?

Thanks.

The device should seed after it is done downloading. If you are running the 1.05 firmware can you tell me where the torrent files are coming from so I can try to recreate this and find a fix?

Sorry didn't get back right away.

I have tried a few other things and have found that I am able to seed correctly but only if I keep the settings at default.  Whenever I try to limit the upload rate or enable the manager to remove files after a certain seed percentage or time, it doesn't allow me to upload any data after the download is complete.

I guess running it as default settings is fine, but it is quite annoying to have to manually manage the removal of the files as well as not limiting the upload rate of the torrent.

Have you heard of this occuring on any other products or settings?

I just got a Linkstation Live with bittorrent 1TB today. It came with firmware 1.01 and I immediatly upgraded it to 1.07 which is the latest firmware. I've just been trying out the bittorrent client and I have exactly the same problem. I've downloaded everything fine but it's not seeding after the download has finished. I've just had a look around the forums for a solution and apparently this problem was fixed in 1.06... Has it really been fixed? Anyone else having this problem on the Linkstation Live?

I just bought buffalo linkstation live 1TB with bittorrent. I have also same problem with bittorrent. While im downloading file i can same time seed it with no problem. But after download it stops seeding it. I have limited my bandwidth, and seed setting ratio is 100%, i have also changed default port and download directory. I have newest 1.21 firmware. I have also done all port forward things but it actually doesnt matter because i have upnp switch and i can seed while downloading but not after that. Please someone fix this annoying problem its not funny to get banned because leeching files without sharing enough.
