Is flashing a new FW always the answer - only if it has fixes

I bought a new Linkstation Live 500GB unit about 1 month ago. Since then it's crashed 2 times already, both times requiring a re-flash of the FW per Tech Support. The thing is it already has the latest FW, but they have it re-flash to fix the corruption it's caused to its own OS, just so it will boot again. I have 2 times now had to re-setup the unit.  This device seems very unstable and as a tester for a NAS company in the Silicon Valley I'd say this company rushed to market without much testing. Beware of the products my friends. Beware. Backup anything you do. Nukeman10

This is not normal, if you are experiencing this then you should try to set the unit back to factory defaults, if this does not work then please call your local tech support and set up an  RMA.
