Hi all,

I have a Linkstation Live and have plugged 2 external USB drives into it. Unfortunately, it will only recognise one at a time. If I plug the Toshiba in on it's own, it is recognised as USBDISK2. If I plug the Seagate in on its own, this too is recognised as USBDISK2. Plugging them both in together, only 1 (the Toshiba) is recognised,

if I do lsusb, it see's both drives:

root@HILLY:/mnt/usbdisk2/MovieJukebox/Movies# lsusbBus 002 Device 002: ID 0930:0b09 Toshiba Corp. Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000  Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0bc2:3000 Seagate RSS LLC Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

Any ideas on how I can get both drives to mount?

TIA

Neil

After much searching and playing, I found the answer...

The USB disk GUID wasn't being populated into /etc/melco/diskinfo for usbdisk1

Adding the entry manually and rebooting resolved the issue.

The GUID of the disks was obtained from /proc/scsi/usb-storage/*
