Hi Everyone

Just wondering if anyone can help. I've a DriveStation HD-CEU2 and for some reason about 200gb of data has disappeared from view. The allocation in my computer shows that the space is still taken up but i can't view the lost folders. I've tried running some data recovery software but this doesn't come up with anything useful, just bmp files.

The label on the bottom says the following (I assume this will be useful in diagnosing the issue):

95525181067140 [[G]] HD-CE1.OTU2-EU

Does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this? I really could do with not losing the data but if that's the case, i'd like to free up the space that the drive is still holding.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Sounds like data corruption.  The only option for data recovery is a data recovery specialist.  In terms of fixing the issue, you should just be able to format it.
